What does the concept of burning fat mean?

This is a process where the body metabolizes and breaks down calories so that they do not get stored in the body as fat.

Calories have three primary sources: carbohydrates, fats and proteins.

Carbohydrates provide us with immediate energy by combining with oxygen in the blood.
Fats are the concentrated energy source of the body and they have over two
times the calories per gram of carbohydrates or proteins.

Therefore, in order for our bodies to burn fat we need to eat the proper diet.

What are the easiest ways of burning fat?

Consume fewer calories

It is important that more calories are used up(burnt) than they are consumed. Junk foods and processed carbohydrates(such as chips, crackers and candy) should be avoided. Your weight loss diet should be thoroughly examined and make sure that the calories are being counted.

Eating fruits and vegetables:
Eating fruits and vegetables helps you keep your energy for longer. Fruits also make you get full faster because they are a good substitute for high energy density foods.

Follow an exercise program:
Make sure that you follow your exercise program consistently and be determined to reach your goals.
