what is the difference between slim, slender and thin?

Slender and slim are commonly used interchangeably. Both these words mean slim and delicate in build or having little width in proportion to height or length. Slender is also commonly used to describe someone who is tall and attractive.

Thin, however means that someone is lacking in excess flesh and the word has negative connotations as it often suggests that someone is unhealthy.
